Liou-Chuan Bakery is a well-known handmade bakery in Taichung, famous for its Hoshino pineapple bread, which are used by Hoshino's natural yeast. As we know, Hoshino's natural yeast in Japan has a history of 70 years. It takes two days to make Hoshino pineapple bread from fermentation to sale. Just like the brand core of Liou-Chuan Bakery, deliciousness takes time to wait and brew. After the fourth year, Liou-Chuan Bakery chose to settle in a quiet and elegant 51-year-old house in Qinmei Eslite Commercial District, and continue to write a new page.
For this spatial integration, Ace Design has designed and planned on two major foundations: retaining the appearance of the old house and highlighting the brand image of Liou-Chuan Bakery. First, we will see the image of the signature pineapple bread standing on the gate, and then enter the specially reserved courtyard space of the old house. The whitespace of the courtyard makes people walk slowly, and you can feel the fragrance of bread and the old house with new vitality. Entering the interior space, the retro and simple design is based on the wooden Chinese medicine cabinet behind the counter as the main visual performance, combined with the wooden window on the side and the retro chandelier, to fully create the warmth and solidity of the brand image about hand-made. The guest seating area opposite the counter, with red and gold as the main body, not only provides guests with a short rest, but also another highlight in the overall space.
As the space design of the third-generation store, how to use the spirit of Liou-Chuan Bakery to transform the brand's symbols into a visual language that can be read and implant them in the customer's impression is the key task of S.Design Studio. We follow this structural framework to develop the main vision, display style, spatial movement and light and shadow effects of the space. The overall space focuses on a large amount of solid wood, and a small amount of marble and metal elements are used to bring out the finishing touch. These complementary details make the brand spirit and characteristics of Liou-Chuan Bakery be implemented in the space and deeply rooted in the heart of every customer.
